chicken. pen drawing. brendan garbee. on hawaii there’s a bunch of feral chickens running around the countryside… they escaped the farms generations ago and turned wild. it’s a unique thing that doesn’t happen on the mainland… if a chicken gets out of the coop on the mainland, it gets eaten by a coyote, a fox, a bobcat, etc. the worst a chicken’s got to worry about on the islands is a feral cat!
